Have to pay extra for parking is not the best thing

Old and outdated

I was only there for a few hours and decided to leave and drive home. The next day I received an extra charge of $300 on my credit card. I called to find out why and they said it was for smoking. I am a recent cancer survivor and I or my husband do not smoke or vape. It was a bogus charge and the woman said she would have someone call me back and I never got a phone call. I don’t know if they got the rooms mixed up or not.. but we did NOT smoke or vape in that hotel! I will be disputing the charge and will get proof of my husband and I being smoke free . I am very upset. We are older. And we were treated with disrespect.

Hidden fees charged at checkout. $11.01 Austin Tourism PID fee?? And $40 per night to use the hotel parking lot?! Not good. The hotel doesn’t use trash liners in the trash bins in the room. The breakfast fruit laid out was literally old. But the room was clean.
