Suite Destination Austin City Center

Place was great. Well decorated and clean. Only problem was that it was not communicated to me by either SuiteDestination or Hotels.com that the address that was given when booked was not the address of where we needed to go. So a lot of run around trying to figure out where to go which is super annoying considering I spoke to Hotels.com the week before arriving and no one said anything. I did receive an email while on my flight to call a number once I arrived, but there was already one member of our party there and she didn’t have the info because I was on the airplane so couldn’t get her the info until I landed and by that point she had already gone to original address. So annoying. Plus this location was alittle further from where we wanted to be. Once we finally figured out where to go, the guy who showed us in was nice but then was unreachable after that. I am really disappointed in Hotels.com and Suite Destination that no one bothered to get in touch with me regarding the location change considering this reservation was made 9 months in advance. I would think 9 months is enough time to get in touch with me via email or phone.

The location was great. Close to the event we were attending; as well as entertainment following the conference. However, the parking was not ideal. We were told that overnight parking in front of meters was free at night. And since we were leaving very early the following day, we wouldn't need to "feed the meter" during our stay. However, after receiving a parking violation, we realized that this particular zone was only free Mon-Tue nights. And beginning on Wednesday (the day of our trip) there was indeed a charge for parking which is $1.20/hour and a 3-hour maximum.
