Celý objekt nás očaril svojou architektúrou, štýlovým zariadením, zeleňou, bol to pre nás zážitok bývať v ňom. Raňajky boli skvelé, rovnako služby.

Wilmina Apartments are brilliant. They are spacious, modern, and furnished like luxury homes, rather than suites in a hotel. Everything has been thought through beautifully by the architects and decorators. But: enjoyment can depend on which exact unit you book, since some are not as well located within the building as others. Apart from that, this place is super-special.

Although we booked a specific unit, we were told on arrival that it was unavailable. We did not like the one we were assigned instead. Luckily, when we pointed this out, we were assigned a far nicer apartment.

Staff had generally been friendly until we needed to collect our bags to catch our flight after we had checked out - the person we felt with then was quite rude (the reception was unattended when we came back so we called the number that had been left and they clearly didn’t like that). There were no blackout curtains in the room so we were woken up very early by the light and this also meant the room got very hot in the morning from the sun as there was no insulation and there was also no air conditioning. Very limited amenities - I understand it’s an apartment rather than a hotel but there were no for example cotton buds or shower caps that you might expect. Pillows were not comfortable. Both my partner and I slept very badly on all three nights we were there. Also our room backed onto the cafe courtyard which was very popular and loud on the weekend mornings. Not much else going on in the area but the stations are nearby. For the price we got a lot of space but was really pretty basic.
