Best hotel near Fenway

Location cannot be beat….steps away from Fenway. The rooms and surrounding areas of the hotel were clean with amazing views of downtown/stadium and the helpful friendly staff/valet were honestly top notch! We’ll be staying at Hotel Commonwealth every visit we make to Boston from now on!

Uncaring

+

I travel at least monthly and have stayed in hotels all over the country. Most of the time, when I have a great experience, I can't wait to encourage others to stay there because exceptional service deserves to be recognized. Unfortunately, my experience at the Commonwealth Hotel has been exactly the opposite. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming, and the customer service lacked even the most basic sense of empathy or concern. I was met with an attitude that felt indifferent and uncaring. I understand that hotels have policies, and I respect that. However, outstanding hospitality is about how those policies are communicated and how guests are treated during difficult situations. Sadly, that was missing here. This review isn't about the room or the location; it's about the experience of being treated like a reservation number instead of a valued guest. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, and I hope management takes a closer look at how guests are treated when unexpected circumstances arise.
