The Spectator Hotel

The Spectator Hotel is ideally located in walking distance to all of downtown. It is beautifully styled, very clean and well maintained, including beautiful fresh flowers on the entry table. Southern hospitality reigns~as we were well greeted everyday as we came and went. The welcome greeting, meeting our butler and being offered and served a cocktail was a special touch that we appreciated. The service was exceptional from lobby staff, to butlers, housekeeping, and bar staff. We enjoyed the live jazz in the bar one night, which was an added plus. Also, the bar staff created well made cocktails. The candy jar in the lobby was special touch, as were the in-room drinks, snacks and the little nightcaps served in chocolate cups. Breakfasts were ample and delicious. We would highly recommend this hotel and happily return ourselves. Our butler for most of our stay was Darryl and shout out to him for his most hospitable, friendly service.

Brilliant staff, fantastic location, great vibe and cool bar.

Noise from Aircon which continued after turning off system.

The location was perfect, and everything was extremely thoughtful. Our Butlers, Jim and David, were excellent, and all the staff always went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

We were at the Spectator Hotel for five nights at the end of March. It was incredible, I would definitely plan to go back! Hannah C and Wade in Concierge, Matt, James, and Tyler in Valet, and our Housekeepers and Butlers were so friendly, helpful, personable and welcoming. Highly recommend!!
