The Gwen, A Luxury Collection Hotel

My friends and I were looking for a fancy tea service and were not disappointed. The tea was exquisite and the tea infused cocktails were to die for. The food was great but more than anything Judie and Sarah were so kind and helpful. They provided wonderful experience and should get a raise for the level of professionalism we experienced. I will be coming back and this is great mid day activity for family and friends visiting chicago

The ambience and staff were lovely. We had high tea for my niece’s birthday and the chef contacted me to work out what she could have due to her dietary restrictions. Sarah was accommodating and informative. She and Judie went the extra mile to ensure our needs were met and our experience was exemplary. Many thanks to them both.

Celebrating our 5th anniversary at Upstairs at The Gwen in Chicago was absolutely wonderful! ❤️ We traveled from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and couldn’t have picked a better place. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entire experience was so special. A huge thank you to our hostess, Judie, and our waitress, Mayra, who both went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner unforgettable. Their warmth and exceptional service truly made the evening! If you’re visiting Chicago, we definitely recommend The Gwen! 🥂

What a great hotel! Really top notch and the customer service sets apart this establishment from others. Luigi is an absolute rockstar and went out of his way throughout our trip to check in and go the extra mile to ensure we were having a good time. Also Russell the concierge was outstanding and texted to make sure we made it to our destination and were enjoying. The hotel itself was clean, spacious rooms and had a beautiful bathroom. Bed super comfy and ample lighting all within walking distance to all the famous Chicago sites. Only small gripes were elevators were painfully slow and the AC shuts off when you leave your room so when you return it can be quite hot.
