Convenient location, boutique style felt like mini studio

Pool closed early, not many amenities, skimped on the bedding. Literally a thin sheet and thin comforter, not even a mattress cover or mattress pad. I expected more.

Rooms are nice. Lobby is nice. Location is great.

You don't leave enough water in the rooms and I ended up dehydrated.

I really liked my stay at the Viceroy. The rooms were a classic art deco style with furnishings that were well maintained. The bed was particularly comfy. The front desk staff, housekeepers, and valets were all excellent. The restaurant had good food and aloof service. I'm not sure if the staff were new or the menu changed but they all seemed lost. I suspect this will.prove over time. Note: this Viceroy property is 4-star plus, but not quite 5-star like the Waldorf, Ritz, Langham, etc.
