Renaissance Dallas Hotel

i loved the room, the amenities,and the structure/decor of the hotel. it is truly beautiful. parking was very close, even in the parking garage. the staff was very helpful, fast, and friendly. my company and i were very grateful for the small grocery area! the smoking section outdoors is the best i’ve seen at any hotel. it’s a very chill, secluded still close enough to the entrance. they had some cool chairs in a clean area with great ambience. i could have sat there most of my trip. i wish we had time to go to the pool and the bar. i only got to see the bar and it looked cozy and very inviting.

the only thing i can think of is having a full body mirror in the hallway or room area. there is one (it’s very pretty) and it’s in the bathroom. we were grateful for that, but it was a little small and awkward for me getting dressed/showering while my company was doing their hair and makeup at the same time. only because the area we had with the mirror was very small with both of us there.

Check in

The air conditioning was incredibly loud as it cycled on and off. Sounded like a motorbike getting started and then like a loud clunk as it cycled off. It made sleep difficult!

Friendly staff

Room card didn't work for parking, had to hunt down our server for breakfast both days, bed was stiff, pillows are flat, room to small for what i paid.

Everything was great. From the room, to the service, to the amenities. However, Valerie seemed genuinely vested on us having a great stay. Thanks Valerie for the outstanding service.
