Very friendly and helpful staff. Owner is very interactive with guests. Breakfast was wonderful! Lol kking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend!

Didn't dislike anything. Just be aware that rooms on the 3rd floor require climbing a flight of steps. You might have to park a block away, but it is free. We had a wonderful stay.

Hidden Gem in Denver. Enjoy the ambiance, the great rooms, and the friendly staff. So far removed from the sterile chain experience. Great neighborhood and have a drink and good conversation in the 12 spirits tavern.

While the accomodations were lovely as reported to me, the owner of the place is absolutely unhinged. My 88 year old mother just returned from Denver and reported to me that the owner was overly friendly and inappropriate in his comments. He then proceeded to unleashed a diatribe on her and other family members on Sunday morning at brunch, screaming at them and coming completely unglued. They tried to calm him down and then literally picked up their things and left while he kept cursing at them. TripAdvisor needs to investigate this situation and not recommend this establishment until that investigation is concluded. My mother is a very sweet woman and this should never have happened to her. She does not use social media so I told her I would report this to you.

We stayed at the Patterson Inn for one night and felt so at home - we were welcomed with a big smile and helping hand with our luggage from Cheryl on front of house. The building itself is mesmerising outside and in with high ceilings, beautiful stained glass and ornate features. Our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and breakfast was homemade and delicious - we met Chris the owner who was great to chat with and incredibly warm and welcoming. If we’re ever back in Denver this is where we’ll be staying - thanks guys!!
