late checkout policy: I was told upon check-in that if I wanted to checkout later, I must call the morning of departure. They could have made an effort to accommodate my request by indicating on their system that I made such a request. By the morning of my departure, I was told that the room was already assigned to another customer. My flight departs 10 p.m. I cannot check in to my flight until 6 p.m. and there is nothing at the HNL airport to do.

Good Location - at the top of Kuhio Street so easy access to Ala Moana and Waikiki - nice decor in rooms

Busy road so road noise could be heard in room, This hotel like many others, seems to allocate the less favourable rooms to those who booked through sites like Booking.com, the Check In was awful - how many jobs do they need to do when there is a queue other than check the customers in, This booking was also part of the data breach and we had numerous bogus Whats Apps - we contacted the hotel direct about it and through booking.com only to receive a message on the day of check in to say ignore them so communication is poor, you pay a resort fee which is fine when others charge it but the facilities are lacking for the amount they charge such as housekeeping every 2nd day (we stayed 2 nights therefore no room servicing not even to empty bins) - the pool area needs a massive overhaul - dirty cabanas, bored looking staff and generally worn.
