Decent. Not bad but not my favorite.

The included breakfast was not great. Room did not smell fresh. I did not like the location off the highway.

Poor management and rotten employee

Called the front desk around 10:30pm (May 15, 2026) Friday night on my way to Houston. The young Hispanic male was very nice and helpful over the phone and patiently answered all my questions. I asked about parking my 18' flat bed and he said they had plenty of space in the back. I drove up, not ever having stayed at this establishment, and happen to drive around back and as I approach the front of the building, I am blocked by a staff member of the hotel driving the facilities' van. Not knowing what was going on, the black man (I believe his name was Alex) threw his arms up in an aggressive manner essentially questioning my presence on the property. I was upset, as can be expected. He approaches my driver window and asks my wife and I if we are checking in. I respectfully told him that we were. He pointed where to park in a very rude way, expressing that we could not park in the front. After I essentially told him no problem and I reach to start up my vehicle, he continues to stand there and stare at us as if he does not believe us. Even after backing up the vehicle to the location, we parked for the night, he continued to stand there and disrespectfully watched us unload our overnight bags prior to walking to the front desk. The trip I was taking was to replace a broken windshield and have some repair work on my vehicle. Only speculation, but he made a judgement call on me being Hispanic and driving a truck in that condition. Or perhaps, they are used to rift raff driving on the premises and that should bring up all kinds of red flag for you. I had been up at that point since 3:30am and was trying to wind-down for the night. I was certainly flustered and ended up doing some work on my laptop for another hour and a half because of the confrontation. I mentioned all that had happened to the front desk. He assured me he would inform the manager in the morning. He apologized for the incident. When I checked out the next morning, they asked how our stay was. I repeated the incident to them. They said they would inform the manager. They gave me a business card, of which I emailed the manager right away. Days later I received a notification that the email failed to go through. I called two more times and left a message with the front desk to have the manager call me back. No response from hotel management was received. I am sick of merely being apologized to. I feel that they should do something to rectify this situation. I don't ask them to fire anyone, but definitely course correct that unpolite, rude, disgusting excuse for an employee in hospitality. All these big companies do is "apologize" and thereby "sweeping" things under the carpet. If I hear from management, and hopefully I do, I will leave an updated post. Just know that you are just a number to these people. If they mess up in something during a stay, don't expect them to do anything, other than to give you a fake apology. It's funny, we work hard for our money and fulfill our obligation of the business transaction, but they fail and leave it at that. It may be better to pick another hotel, enter at your own risk. I hope this helps you make an informed choice. Oh, and the coffee is awful! Better do a Dunkin or Starbucks or another run.
