Melas Hotel Istanbul

The housekeeping staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They were the only staff members who made us feel comfortable during our stay. I really appreciated their positive attitude and professionalism.

Unfortunately, we were given a room with two beds pushed together instead of the two separate beds we had specifically booked. The problem could only be resolved the following morning, and we were told that no rooms with separate beds were available. In addition, most of the staff and security guards were unfriendly and unprofessional. They rarely greeted us and often made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the service and hospitality were disappointing.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we did not feel welcome. The staff constantly gave us strange and uncomfortable looks whenever we entered the hotel, which made the atmosphere feel very unpleasant. There was absolutely no sense of a warm welcome or genuine hospitality. On our first day, we were also given a different room from the one we had originally booked. When we addressed this issue, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that we would have to wait until the following morning to move to the room we had actually reserved. I found this very unprofessional, especially since we had specifically chosen and paid for a particular room. What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the staff. They did not come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. Every time we walked into the hotel, we felt uncomfortable rather than welcomed, which is definitely not what you expect when staying at a hotel. The only positive aspect of our stay was the housekeeping staff. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
