I definitely recommend this hotel
I had a very good stay at Ahern Hotel. The value for money is excellent: the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and everything went smoothly during my stay. There were no hidden fees and no resort fees, which I really appreciated — what you see is what you pay. Overall, a great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.

My experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.
I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I checked in for the first time on October 31st and was told I needed to pay a $500 deposit even though my room was pre-paid for. I was told this amount would be split once my roommate checked in later that day. I trusted that information, paid the full amount, and was reassured that I’d receive my portion back and full refund after check-out. Later, I found out that the hotel never collected the deposit from my roommate, even though that was the agreement explained to me at check-in. I checked out on November 4th and was told my deposit would be refunded. When nothing showed up the next day as a refund, I followed up the next morning and got a completely different explanation, that deposits are only released once all guests have checked out, even though I was no longer staying there and that it would take up to 5 business days. To make things even more concerning, I eventually called my bank after 13 days to see if they could confirm the status of the refund. I was shocked to learn that the hotel had placed an authorized hold of $500 on my card until December 1st, 2025, despite repeatedly telling me it would release in just 5 business days. This was never communicated to me at any point. From there, the situation only got worse. I called the hotel multiple times almost every other day for more than a week, left voicemail after voicemail requesting to speak with the operations manager, and was told she was “in a meeting until 3 PM” every single time they answered. Not once did I get a return call or any proactive communication. The lack of honesty, inconsistency, and complete disregard for guests made this the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Even after finally receiving confirmation that the refund was "processed" via email with not date and time stamp, the amount of stress and misinformation I dealt with was unacceptable. I will not be staying here again, and I sincerely hope management takes immediate steps to improve transparency and customer service. Guests deserve much better.

We went for my husband's teeth to get done at Bionic Smile. The hotel and staff are very nice. Except for the girl in Aroma Cafe. We had a very enjoyable time staying here with no gambling. Our room was clean and housekeeping is excellent.
