La Posada del Tope Hotel

Cheap and very mediocre. Front desk person was nice. The room was... quaint, to put it nicely. Very stuffy so I spent as little time in it as possible. 2 beds, 1 fan, 1 tv whose reception was so bad I couldn’t watch anything. WiFi at least was fast. Separate bathroom was not very clean. Cute little courtyard but needs some hammocks asap! Overall would not recommend.

So this place is Bed, Bathroom, Bible worthy (but missing the Bible). It's the type of place you stay when you only plan to be in your room just to sleep. It's bare minimum necessities, but the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Please note you need to provide or pay for your amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) but since most are taking day trips any who it's kinda a deal.t room had mainly canvas walls which meant you heard lots of noises, but none of those noises were fellow guests, so I thought it wasn't so bad. Overall 3-4/5 worthy. It's not a grand experience, but a good deal for travelers on a bidget

I did not feel safe. My room was facing the street-really noisy. The mosquito nets and curtains looked filthy and the 2 shared bathrooms were dirty. It was a run down dump. With the right investment it could be charming

Great staff. Washed my shirt, which I forgot when I returned 5 days later. Antique surroundings.
