Location staff spa complementary snacks room was so pretty

The location was fantastic. The rooms were very modern and clean. There was plenty space in the bathroom for toiletries (not always the case). The air conditioning was excellent. The soundproofing was also very good. The Dyson hairdryer was better than the usual hairdryer supplied in hotels. The complementary drinks and snacks were appreciated.

The room could have been darker, with blackout blinds as well as curtains. Unfortunately, the main mirror was in the bathroom, and so the only mirror that could be used with the hairdryer was the small, free-standing shaving mirror, which is not adequate. The biggest disappointment was being woken at 6 am by the fire alarm. There was a good deal of confusion (it kept stopping and starting) and, on the bedroom floors, no guidance from staff. It was eventually declared a false alarm but an explanation would have been appreciated, perhaps even some token of recompense, such as free drink or breakfast.

The location was great, the hotel is gorgeous and staff courteous.

Our travel agent booked us. We would never have found this by ourselves...It was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful facility, excellent service. Will definitely stay there again.

I cannot say whether the hotel has been recently refurbished or simply maintained with exceptional care, but the suite we stayed in was immaculate. The thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a complimentary minibar with snacks, the welcoming sweet‑and‑savory mix, and the 'handwritten' note made the experience feel very special. I also want to acknowledge the wonderfully diverse team working there. The range of nationalities represented brings a depth of professionalism through their dedication to their craft. The restaurant is bijou yet extremely comfortable, with an intimate feel and beautifully presented, delicious food. The bar area shifts effortlessly from a relaxed daytime café vibe to an evening atmosphere reminiscent of an American styled cocktail bar, stylish, warm, and inviting. Lastly the library area was a welcome chillout area only available to hotel guest which was a really nice touch in the multiple seating area to simply hangout & unwind.
