The only hotel in LA we’d stay at from now on.
The service from beginning to end was beyond exceptional.

Wonderful
I recently stayed at the property and was very impressed. The beds are very comfortable, the service was wonderful, the concierge Kerri was very helpful (my request was very much out of her scope, yet she was very kind and helpful, which I appreciated very much). I have previously stayed exclusively at the BHH but would recommend The Peninsula to anyone, any day.

Impeccable bespoke service
Such personalized service. I mentioned we were coming for Kanye and I was floored that they had set up 4 clear backpacks with water Gatorade glowies and snacks. And of course the monogrammed pillowcases. They know your name and everybody is so solicitous you feel the warmth of a long lost family reunion. A nice contrast to the impersonal sense you can sometimes get in LaLa land.

Exceptional in many ways
We stayed at The Peninsula Beverly Hills for a family vacation with my wife, kids, and in-laws, and overall it was a really strong experience. We booked two rooms through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. Before arriving, I called to ask about a possible upgrade—while that would have been about 3x the price, the team was helpful and instead arranged adjoining rooms for us, which worked out perfectly for a family trip. I’ll admit, I had read some negative reviews before arriving, which made me a bit hesitant. But in our experience, we didn’t encounter any of those issues—which is actually why I felt compelled to write this review. First impressions matter, and they nailed it. The private motor court entrance and valet setup immediately set the tone—elegant, smooth, and not overly crowded despite being in Beverly Hills. We booked base-level rooms, and honestly, they exceeded expectations. They were very comfortable, well-appointed, and a good size—not cramped at all. Everything felt polished and thoughtfully designed. Where this hotel really stands out is the service. It’s consistently excellent across the board—from the doormen to housekeeping to the waitstaff. Everyone was attentive without being overbearing, and it made a noticeable difference throughout the stay. We also spent time at the pool, which was a great spot to relax, and made use of the car service, which was incredibly convenient for getting around. One practical tip: bring cash for tips—you’ll want it, given the level of service. The overall feel actually reminded me of The Langham in London—classic luxury, not trendy, but done really well. No major downsides to note. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it, especially for families looking for a comfortable, high-service hotel in a great location.
