The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Outrageously friendly staff, super clean and comfortable room, the bar & grill service was excellent even late in the evening. Room was elegant and very quiet! Location downtown in business section was excellent.

Everything was wonderful. The parking garage underneath was a little tricky to get too because the city has illuminated signs in street that say no turning onto the street the entrance is located. It was marked as official vehicles only due to being a main access for the nearby hospital. We eventually figured it our and all was well

Although it had really nothing to do with my personal stay at the Marquette , it was nice to have been made aware of Mary Tyler Moore’s inadvertent connection to the hotel( the plaque on the balcony). I ended up not using the entire suite as planned, but it certainly was luxurious enjoying the huge suite all to myself.

Located close to the stadiums. Easy walking distance to Target Field, Target Center, and US Bank on the sidewalks or Skywalk!

Be careful if you're outside as there was a shooting right on the corner near the Mary Tyler Moore Statue in front of Dayton's at 11:30 am on Sunday morning. There are some sketchy people that will confront you or try to engage you. Be aware and observant and mind your own and you'll be fine.keep to yourself and move along, do not be afraid to tell the local drunken vagrants to get away from you though! Also the bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable, all you could feel was springs.
