I really liked the Library hotel and would stay here again. Everything was great - I had the small double bed room and it was perfectly fine. Shower good, aircon was fantastic - really cold and I could turn it on and off as needed. Small tv but i wasn't staying there to watch it anyway. Good reception and I got my room deposit back within 4 days so well done to library on that. I asked for an iron and ironing board as i went out and it was in my room by time i got back. Very nice bar and terrace on top floor which I did use with nice big tv to watch world cup. Restaurant on ground floor looked very good and airy but I didnt use it. Free tea, coffee and pastries on 2nd floor for those staying at hotel in a very nice room with a grand piano. Best location I have stayed in when in New York, subway 5 minutes walk and very lively area.

A perfect hotel for any book lover. We loved the spirit and atmosphere, and the location on "Library Way," near the Library and Bryant Park, allowed us to carry this theme throughout the trip. The Junior Suite is large enough for two people even if they are not a couple, and the counter space is quite generous. We also appreciated the Reading Room, available for comfortable reading or work space and complementary croissants, coffee, soft drinks, fruit, etc. at all hours -- particularly nice if one of you is an early morning person and the other is not. A very special stay.
