Lokal Hotel Old City

Excellent location steps from many attractions in old city and the downtown area. Fantastic communication with staff.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Das Hotel ist einfach und hübsch. Das Zimmer und Bad sehr groß, hohe Decken, sehr viel Platz. Es hat eigene Küche, alles mögliche. Dusche sehr gut, groß und super funktionierend. Zu Fuß alles erreichbar, viele kleine Cafés und Läden.

Die Lüftung im Bad scheint nicht zu funktionieren, oder sehr wenig. Da das Gebäude älter ist, sind viele kleine Sachen veraltet, aber soweit alles gut im Schuss. Leider sind die Fenster gesperrt, was aber ziemlich schlecht ist, da Mann nicht lüften kann und das Zimmer über keine Lüftung verfügt. Es hat eine Klimaanlage, welche nur zur Kühlung dient, jedoch es gibt keine frische Zuluft.. Das Zimmer war auch etwas dreckig, bzw. der Boden war nicht gesaugt.

We stayed at Lokal Hotel Old City, a loft-style hotel that somehow makes you feel less like a tourist and more like a local who just happens to have excellent taste in neighborhoods. Also apparently the kind of place where people accidentally leave their trousers in the dryer for the next guest. Which honestly tracks with Philly’s energy. Because the people here are absurdly kind. The type to hand you their umbrella in the rain without hesitation. BTW, we left the umbrella in the room along with the rain jacket and those trousers for the next guest😉
