Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix

I had a wonderful stay at the kimpton hotel Palomar largely thanks to Bryce and Douglas. They were incredibly accommodating, always available to help with any issue and went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its top notch service.

One word, FANTASTIC! Stayed for the weekend of the Fourth of July. Had exceptional service from check in from Jessica and Dylan who were so cheerful and helpful. Location fantastic, we took in a WMBA game & a ball game just across the street. So close to wonderful restaurants and other entertainment. Pool & bar on the rooftop was an oasis of cool comfort on the sunny AZ summer day & evening. Service was excellent, Naomi & Matt made sure we wanted for nothing. Busy weekend but they handled it with a smile. Hotel bar at Blue Hound had excellent selection with a master bartender Julius. Top floor room with fantastic view, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Location was perfect! Property was clean and staff was very nice.

For the price I paid, I was expecting a microwave and maybe a love seat in the room. Was not allowed late check out.

The Kimpton Palomar is our “go-to” hotel for downtown Phoenix. Being an IHG Member with a Diamond Elite status, they have always provided me the perks that go along with it, including being upgrade to a suite (when available), welcome treats, as well as a “raid-the-bar” credit, breakfast or points. They also have two restaurants on the property: Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails (book a month in advance for that one - see our video review under our dining section below) and Eden - their rooftop, outdoor restaurant. Both are great options, though Eden has beautiful views of the pool and of the Phoenix landscape! Finally, they are VERY dog-friendly with free treats and water in the lobby (you also get a polaroid picture of them), as well as bedding and other amenities. TIP: Valet your car - they park it in the secure garage that they share with the apartment complex next door.
