1906 Lodge

The only negative that I have is the parking situation. They have a garage that cost $30 per night to park in, if there’s room. The garage was full and there was no parking anywhere within a quarter mile therefore we parked about a 1/2 mile away. That being said it was the Fourth of July weekend on an island. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom with a large shower. We had a small balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Breakfast was available with inside or outside seating. We ate outside, where we were served mimosas, on a covered porch with in a courtyard with a fountain in the center. The service was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. From the inn there are plenty of restaurants, as well as the beach and the waterfront area within walking distance. We found the atmosphere quiet ,peaceful and comfortable. It was a great value. I would recommend it to friends and family. .

This 1906 Lodge is a gem in the heart of Coronado, on a quiet street, easily walking distance to the beach. It has a beautiful courtyard, where we are served a lovely complimentary breakfast as well as happy hour with appetizers. The rooms are clean, big, and very comfortable. The rooms look out to the courtyard. The staff is so attentive to every need, very friendly! They even made us lunch for the 4th of July and had it waiting for us when we got back from the parade. I hate to give away this secret gem because I think they only have 17 rooms and we would go back time and again!!

The room was fairly spacious (we had a Garden King) with a small terrace overlooking the garden. The room was adequate in style; not as nice as I anticipated. We had to walk up a flight of stairs to our room carrying our own luggage which wasn't great, but we had friends that stayed in two other hotels and they had similar experiences, so I guess it's par for the course on Coronado Island. The staff was very nice and accommodated us when we asked to leave our car and bags for a couple of hours after check-out. The happy hour was great from 4-5:00. The give you a choice of wines or beer and bring out a fruit, nut and cheese platter. They fill your drinks throughout the hour. I planned on having breakfast there, but wound up eating elsewhere with friends. It's in a good area, walkable to everything. Overall, it was a nice stay.

So nice and quiet, room was so nice , bedding was amazing . Will stay again for sure
