Excellent hotel with really good food right near the ballpark. We had early check in and late check out. Room was immaculate. We had a great bellhop and desk agents. I truly could not have asked for a better stay! We'll be back next time we're in San Diego!

Our stay at Pendry San Diego was nothing short of exceptional, and several team members deserve recognition for making my husband's milestone birthday weekend unforgettable. Before we even arrived, Christina in Concierge provided outstanding service through thoughtful communication and coordination. She ensured every special touch for my husband and our guests was in place, making our arrival seamless and stress-free. Likewise, Nikki was instrumental in ensuring our pool cabana reservation was solidified before we arrived, giving me peace of mind and allowing me to focus on enjoying the celebration rather than managing logistics. Jae, the Pool Manager, exemplified hospitality at its finest. He went above and beyond to address a concern before I even had the opportunity to raise it myself. That level of attentiveness and proactive service speaks volumes about the culture at Pendry. Our pool server, Marley, was consistently warm, attentive, and gracious throughout our cabana experience. Bennett, who assisted with our cabana service, worked with pride and a smile, helping create a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from beginning to end. And then there was Raphael. He crafted what was hands-down the best espresso martini I tasted on the West Coast. His personality, energy, and service single-handedly made our first night remarkable and set the tone for an incredible weekend. Beyond the exceptional staff, the property itself is beautiful. The location is perfect—within walking distance of so much that makes San Diego special, while still feeling like a luxurious retreat. The hotel is impeccably maintained, stylish, and full of thoughtful details. I also have to mention the Moët vending machine, which was one of the coolest and most unique hotel features I've encountered and perfectly captures the fun, elevated vibe of the property. What stood out most, however, was the atmosphere. Everywhere we went, guests were friendly, engaging, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves. It created an energy that felt welcoming and vibrant. I can only assume that when a property is this well-managed, beautifully maintained, and committed to excellent service, it naturally attracts amazing people. The true luxury of a hotel is its people, and Pendry San Diego has assembled an extraordinary team. Because of Christina, Nikki, Jae, Marley, Bennett, Raphael, and so many others working behind the scenes, Pendry San Diego now holds a special place in our collection of "this was a great trip" memories. Thank you for helping create a milestone birthday celebration that we will never forget. We were already fond of Montage Pendry properties but now we feel more like ambassadors!
