The St. Regis Hotel San Francisco

I recently visited San Francisco with my daughter for a birthday weekend, and our experience at the St. Regis was phenomenal. Prior to our arrival, the hotel proactively reached out to gather details about our trip. I mentioned the birthday celebration and noted my daughter's allergy to down pillows. The execution upon our arrival was flawless: we found a thoughtful birthday note and macrons waiting for her, and the beds were already equipped with the requested hypoallergenic pillows. Even by the high standards expected of the St. Regis brand, the staff's attention to detail and overall service were absolutely impeccable. The accommodations themselves were modern, exceptionally clean, and luxurious. Additionally, both the food quality and the service at breakfast were great. Overall, this is a very nice hotel that executes perfectly on the details. Highly recommended.

Rooms could use a little refresh Carpet was stained Area deserted at night but that reflects the state of SF more than the hotel specifically

Pros: I went for a medical convention in the Moscone Center so the location was unbeatable for these purposes. Visited the SFMoMA next door. The staff were very welcoming, extremely friendly, and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and full of natural light. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjusted. Food and cocktails were particularly impressive. The fitness center and pool are open 24/7--a big perk.

Cons: A couple of blocks south of the hotel can feel seedy and unsafe, particularly at night. Had a few issues with the wi-fi signal and speed.
