Hotel Ballard

We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the location of a wedding we were attending. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and boutiques. Occasionally noisy, it was definitely in the center of lots of fun.

The hotel had no bar of its own. Guests are invited to use the bar of a large restaurant next door, but they shut down at 9:30 PM and are closed on Sunday and Monday I believe.

The rooms were very loud with street noise The rooms were small & the cleaning staff had to be asked daily to leave/ bring wash clothes The restaurant had very limited choices and what they had was only ok

Loved the location and the workout facility was hard to beat! We could walk to everything. Bed was super comfortable. Loved the split room. Fifth floor was really great.

The floor tile in the shower needed a good scrubbing and so did the carpet! Also, the temperature of the water while showering kept going up and down - not scalding or freezing, just a bit annoying and archaic, but I suppose normal for an historic hotel.

Location is perfect and quality is incredible. The bathroom is so nice, and the bed is the most comfortable. We really enjoy staying here when we go to shows at the Tractor Tavern.
