The Sunset Hotel West End

Very efficient check-in, door code emailed in advance. Great location. Very helpful & friendly staff. Nice apartment on 6th floor. Luggage lockers a nice idea.

Not a lot

The "room" was actually more of a spacious, well-appointed one-bedroom apartment. Great location, a short (one block) walk to the popular Davie Street area with an abundance of shops (including a good supermarket), cafes, bars and take-away joints. I don't venture out late at night and I'm not sure the area would be completely safe at that time either. The West End is a good location, away from - but accessible to - some of the busier tourist areas but I didn't get on top of the public transport from Downtown. Not a problem for me because I enjoy walking (daylight hours) but it needs to be considered by those less mobile.

Rooms are not serviced but there was no collection of rubbish (trash) or recyclables either. I placed my overflowing recyclables bin outside my door as advised by Reception but it was not cleared - the only disappointing aspect of my stay.

집이 전반적으로 모던한 인테리어에 뻥 뚫린 뷰가 좋더라구요. 무난무난한 아파트형 숙소였어요.

전반적으로 깔끔해보였는데 체크아웃 할 때쯤 보니 구석에 개미들이 좀 있더군요.. 그리고 4인 이용 가능이라는데 3인실인 거 같아요. 한 사람은 그냥 바닥에 이불 깔고 잤네요ㅠ
