A great, honest, and real old-Vienna place with lots of feeling.

The owner, Mr. Panus, is the sole of the Altwienerhof. He prepares breakfast every morning, hand-made, bio and fresh, and serves it to your room. The room was spacious and had the great charm of the old Vienna, including a cupboard kitchenette. If you like the opposite of sterile, glass-metal, cubical hotels rooms, then this one is right for you, as it has maintained a true Vienna feeling. Also you have good access to public transport and great restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately, like seemingly everywhere nowadays in our big Western European cities, one is forced to watch live the drug scene (and related disgraces of degrading human society) near and around the next-door beautiful metro station of Gumpendorfer Straße.

Super accueil du gérant. Centre accessible à pied pour les bons marcheurs ou en transports en communs (à proximité). Notre appartement était spacieux, propre et au calme. J'y retourernai très volontiers.

Herrliche Tagen in Wien verbracht in diese außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, sehr freundliches Personal und toll gelegen.

Sehr tolle Einrichtung, passend zum Stil vom Haus. Sehr geräumige Räume, alles was wir gebraucht haben war da. Das Frühstück würde aufs Zimmer gebracht, formidable !
